DEPOK FOOD SMART CITY 

This is a community service project held by Communication Science Department UPJ in partnership with the Indonesian Calling Association (PIB). The goal of this activity is to help create a food-smart city for all urban communities in Indonesia.

Community service programs are carried out in two forms: first, the planning and development of the Food Smart City website that can be accessed at www.foodsmartcityina.wixsite.com/mysite

Second, socialization with the people of Depok on the importance of eating more responsible and environmentally sustainable food in the event entitled 'Food Smart Day' which took place at the Depok elementary school on 26 March 2019.

Through this community service project, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of being smart in handling and consuming food in an acceptable manner would have an impact on a sustainable community.
